Framec Trade & Fownd
 Framec Trade, part of the Mondial Group has appointed Fownd Company Cold Logic as sole suppliers and importers of the Framec Eutectic Refrigerated body.
Renown throughout Europe and South America as one of the most reliable and low maintenance systems for keeping food refrigerated, they work best for ice cream and frozen foods. The advantages over a standard system are;
- Maintaining temperatures of -30° to -18° in a multi drop environment
- Lower fuel costs over a blown air system as the refrigeration “charges” overnight, not whilst on the road.
- Less temperature loss when doors are open as compartments give access to the area needed, not the entire body.
- Maintenance is greatly reduced. It is not unknown for systems to operate for in excess of 10 years without a service call.
- As the body can be transferred to a new chassis, operators life the body over ten years or more.
- With more efficiently insulated bodies, eutectics are far less prone to ambient temperature changes.
- Near silent running while delivering allowing access to low noise areas.
Bodies can be supplied for all major chassis types from pick-ups to 26-ton trucks or as complete vehicles. A demonstrator will be available soon. Terms are available for finance, lease or contract hire.
